The Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation, in partnership with Luštica Bay, successfully organized the sixth edition of the Basketball Camp, bringing together young basketball players from across the region for a week of learning, sportsmanship, and inspiration.
Held from 20 to 26 July 2026 at the Centrale Basketball Court in Luštica Bay, the camp welcomed boys and girls aged 8 to 16, providing them with an opportunity to improve their basketball skills while learning the values of teamwork, dedication, fair play, and perseverance.
Designed for young athletes who are already actively engaged in basketball, the camp combined professional training sessions focused on basketball fundamentals, individual technique, tactical understanding, physical conditioning, and game intelligence. Beyond athletic development, participants had the opportunity to build new friendships, exchange experiences, and develop confidence both on and off the court.
Each participant received a welcome package that included basketball equipment and camp gear, while the week concluded with certificates of participation and special awards recognizing the dedication and effort shown throughout the camp.
The highlight of the program was the final day, when campers met NBA Hall of Famer Vlade Divac, who spent time with the young players, shared stories from his remarkable basketball career, answered their questions, and encouraged them to continue pursuing both excellence in sport and values such as respect, discipline, and teamwork. Participants also had the opportunity to take photographs and receive personal autographs from one of Europe's greatest basketball legends.
Through initiatives like this Basketball Camp, the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation continues to promote healthy lifestyles, youth development, and equal opportunities for children and young people through sport.
