The Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation is one of the recipients of the prestigious Tesla Medal and Certificate of Appreciation for 2025, an award presented by the Tesla Science Foundation from the United States in cooperation with its branch in Serbia. This recognition is awarded to organizations and individuals who contribute to preserving and promoting Tesla’s legacy, advancing culture and science, and strengthening ties between Serbia and its diaspora.
The “Days of Nikola Tesla 2025”, within which the awards were presented, was a series of events marked this year by a rich program across Serbia and the region, from exhibitions, literary evenings, and artistic performances to scientific panels and educational activities, connecting the past, present, and future through the life and work of Nikola Tesla.
Nikola Lončar, founder and president of the Tesla Science Foundation, stated that one of the Foundation’s key goals is the development of Nikola Tesla Clubs and the strengthening of cultural diplomacy, enabling young Serbs around the world to connect, cherish their heritage, and represent the true values of Serbian culture on the global stage.
“Tesla is a symbol and an icon of our nation, especially for people in the diaspora. His contribution to humanity is immeasurable. There is no part of the world where his work has not left a mark,” Lončar emphasized.
The Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation proudly accepts this honor, which further confirms our commitment to strengthening the ties between Serbia and its diaspora, promoting culture and science, and preserving the values that Nikola Tesla left as a legacy for future generations.
