Forty households that were directly affected by the flood due to the overflowing of the Pravačka River and torrential streams in the territory of the Svrljig municipality at the beginning of May this year, received packages of food and hygiene products through the Ana and Vlada Divac Foundation and with the help of a donation from the organization LDSC.
A total of 100 packages were distributed to families that suffered direct damage from the flood as well as other poor households.
During the flood caused by heavy rainfall, there were no casualties, and the local authorities managed to evacuate the cattle that were trapped in the barns. However, around 40 households suffered significant damage to their homes.
