The Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation is very proud of the people, individuals, companies and organizations that have stood by its side from the beginning in order to help as many people as possible. Our team includes 12 employees of the Foundation, 130 volunteers, 800.000 individual donors, 775 companies and 130 organizations without the support of whom we would not have been able to implement our projects to-date. They all donated something – knowledge, time, energy and funds, all of which is equally important.
Founders
The founders deserve credit for what the Foundation has done to-date - a famous basketball player , a former member of the national basketball team and primarily a humanist - Vlade Divac and his wife - Ana Divac. They have shared their vision, ideas and energy with and transferred these to the team they lead. Ana and Vlade have been involved in humanitarian work for 25 years, both in our country and in the United States, where they lived during Vlado’s professional NBA career.
Managing Board
The Foundation’s Managing Board selects and appoints a director, approves strategic plans, and controls and supervises the work of the Foundation. The Managing Board, in addition to Ana and Vlade Divac, includes fir more members.
Employees
Since its establishment, the Foundation has become a team of 19 employees. As the number of areas of our engagement has grown, so too has our team and without the hard work and enthusiasm of these committed, creative and experienced professionals there would be no real results.
Volunteers
We are particularly proud of our 130 volunteers - people who help us, share the same values as Foundation and who have volunteered over 90,000 hours of work in order for the Foundation to be able to help as many people as possible.
